In the 2017–18 season, Denizlispor finished 15th in the Turkish 1st League and reached the 4th round of the Turkish Cup. The team saw multiple coaching changes: Yusuf Şimşek led until late September, followed by Reha Erginer until early February, and then Fatih Tekke took over.
